A New Week

This has been a busy week. Kind of crazy at work. I got in trouble from my boss, and that was hard to take. Since I was a little girl in school, I have been the good kid, the teacher's pet (with the exception of one teacher) and I loved it that way. Same thing at work. It used to be that I was the good employee, the one they could count on. I guess I feel like I have lost that for some reason. But I sucked it up and got over it. It sure felt like a long week.

On a happier note, I am making a scarf for my friend Sheila. It is a soft suede yarn. It is wonderful to work with. Sheila is trying to decide if she wants fringe or not. What do you think? The scarf should be done in a few days. Thank goodness I have knitting to keep me sane! I sure wish I could knit full time. Maybe in heaven!

Oh, Baby!

Fun new project! this is a baby hat, not a toilet paper roll cover! It is for baby Ivy. I hope it fits, and I hope she likes it.

Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Tulsa Style!

Rewind a few weeks. I thought I was going to get to work on the Extreme Home Makeover house they were building here in Tulsa. The build went Extremely well, despite our Extreme weather and I was Extremely disappointed that I did not get to participate. However, I was Extremely happy for the Starkweather family who were gifted with a beautiful new home. Simmons did a fabulous job and I know it was a lot of hard work. I also tried to attend the reveal that was scheduled to begin at 2. We arrived at 1:20. I had to leave to get Jacob from school at 3:45 and the reveal did not happen until after5PM. Again, Extremely disappointed.

What can I say? I guess Hollywood and I would never get along. It was just not meant to be. I was very happy for the family and am looking forward to the show airing in March. Hopefully Sammy SMOR will make the show. We had a great day together. We got a breakfast at Tally's and stood in the crowd together for many hours holding her awesome sign!

Lazy me.

Sorry fans... I just cant think of anything to say, but I couldn't leave you hanging, wondering where I am and what I am doing (like you dont know I was knitting!).

I ordered a large amount of snow to fall today, it did fall, just not here! Or what fell melted. BOOOOOOO! I know, I can hear you, you are sick of it, but you are not in charge this winter, I am. I did let my control slip today and what I ordered did not arrive. So you dodged a bullet. Can you tell I am tired tonight? A little silly? Yep.

Going shopping in the recent photo file for a pic as I am way to lazy to walk across the room and get my camera and upload the pictures. Sad but true!

Winter Wonderland!

Winter visited us again! I know all my adoring public lives right here where I live and this is old news. Here is something that you might not have known. I LOVE THE SNOW!! You knew that too?
